Please be advised of an upcoming lane closure on Upper James to facilitate a new traffic island extension.

Where:
Upper James St. (at Airport Rd.)

Start Date:
Monday May 2nd 2022, 09:00 am (weather permitting)
Completion Date:
Thursday May 5th 2022, 16:00 pm

Scope of Work:
-Tapered closure of lane one southbound, starting prior to Airport Rd left turn lane
-Minor impact to left turning lane northbound while workers onsite only
-Extension of traffic island in center of road
-Required due to new fuel station entrance/exit, identified as traffic safety to eliminate vehicle traffic onto/off of north bound lane

Additional Notes:
-Lane one south bound will remain closed for duration of construction, illuminated TC-12 will be set up in lane one southbound
-Both turning lanes, northbound and southbound will be accessible throughout project
