Saturday, October 2, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the City of Hamilton will be giving away free trees to Hamilton residents at two of our Public Works yards in an effort to give back while working towards our goal of increasing Hamilton’s tree canopy. This private tree giveaway is a contactless, drive thru tree pick up open to all Hamilton residents, and unlike our Street Tree Planting Program, residents can plant these free trees themselves anywhere on their property.

Residents who can’t make the giveaway this weekend will also have a chance to visit the City’s second giveaway on Saturday October 16, 2021 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
