The Royal Canadian Air Force Assoc 447 Wing wouldlike to invite you to be a part of Canadian aviation history as we honour the contributions of Canada’s number one World War 11 ace, George “Buzz” Buerling.

George’s broth, Rick, will be at the Wing to dedicate a wooden replica of Geroge’s Spitfire aircraft in his brother’s memory. George “Buzz” Buerling has been dubbed “Canada’s most famous hero of Second World War”, as well as “The Falcon of Malta” and the “Knight of Malta”, due to his accomplishments of shooting down 27 Axis aircraft in just 14 days over the island of Malta during Warld War 11. He was credited with 31 air victories in total.
